Why Braid

Two homes, one household. Braid gives both parents the same picture of the kids’ lives — less back-and-forth, fewer surprises, and more room for the kids.

01 · Shared schedule

The whole month, at a glance.

Set up your custody pattern once — 2-2-3, week on/week off, or your own. Braid colours each day by home, plans handovers, and puts school events, appointments and holidays where you can both see them.

  • Swap requests that need a yes from both of you
  • Handover checklists so nothing gets left behind
  • School events, appointments and holidays in one view
02 · Routine tracking

The same routines in both homes.

Bedtimes, medication, homework and screen time, agreed once and followed in both homes. Each parent checks things off as they go, so the other can see how the day went without having to ask.

  • Morning, after-school and bedtime checklists
  • Medication logs with who gave what, and when
  • Streaks that carry across both homes
03 · Shared expenses

Split costs without the awkward maths.

Snap a receipt, choose the split, and Braid keeps a running balance. School trips, braces, football boots — logged once, visible to both, settled when you’re ready.

  • 50/50 or any custom split
  • Receipts attached to every expense
  • Monthly summaries you can share or export
04 · Documents

Every important paper, in one place.

Passports, medical records, school reports, permission slips and the parenting plan, stored in the household and available to both of you whenever you need them.

05 · Shared notes

The details that live in your head.

Clothing sizes, allergies, the teacher’s name, which stuffed rabbit is the important one. Write it down once and you’ll both have it.

How households work

One household. Coparents join free.

Braid is built around the household, not the individual. Set one up and everyone you invite shares the same schedule, expenses, documents, routines and notes, and they don’t pay to join.

FAQ

Good questions.

Something else? Get in touch.

Does my coparent have to pay?

No. Coparents you invite to your household join for free, on iPhone or Android. You can also start on your own and invite them when they’re ready.

What does Braid cost?

Pricing is per household, not per parent. One subscription covers the whole household, billed through the App Store or Google Play, and invited coparents never pay.

Can I use Braid records in court?

You can export schedules, expenses and notes as PDFs. Whether they’re accepted depends on your court — ask your lawyer or mediator. Braid doesn’t give legal advice.

Do my kids get accounts?

No. Braid is for adults. Parents add details about their children, but children don’t sign in or use the app.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also request deletion here.

Make the week easier for everyone.
